When Kurt Busiek first decided to get
into self-publishing he asked me to work
with him on an idea for a character he
called 'Superstar'.
Kurt had the story and character
concept pretty much hammered out but
no idea of the visuals. These are a few
on the sketches I doodled.
I remembered pencilling this cover but had
completely forgotten that I redesigned these
characters until I came across the copies below.
